Rose Adagio is a Cinderella story set at the turn of the century when the old ways are giving way to new. For me, this book is as much about Helen’s self discovery as it is a love story between Helen and John.

Ms. Richmond was able to pull me into the story and let me feel some of the heartache, laughter and joy through the well developed characters in the story.

Rose Adagio is a very entertaining story. I very much enjoyed the character of Helen and was impressed by her duty to her family. From the very first page it is obvious that she feels commitment to them, even though she and her father never really did see eye to eye.
Sarah Richmond is an ingenious storyteller and I will look forward to reading more from her.
